On April 26, Belgian Finals of the 14th ¡°Chinese Bridge¡± Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students took place in Paradise Zoo where pandas ¡°Xinghui¡± and ¡°Haohao¡± reside. In the final, nine students from Sinology Department of different colleges in Belgium showed their marvelous Chinese proficiency and their personal understanding of Chinese culture. According to the education office of Chinese Embassy in Belgium, Belgian college students¡¯ Chinese proficiency is fairly high. In previous ¡°Chinese Bridge¡± Competitions, Belgian players have obtained a series of remarkable achievements, including one Grand Prize, two First Prizes, two Second Prizes and two Third Prizes.
